Hoops Midwest was founded in 2010 by Mike Edwards & Steve Reith in Springfield, MO! Since then, HMW has hosted hundreds of Youth Basketball Tournaments throughout Missouri & Illinois! Included in that time span was being a huge part of the team that built the Fieldhouse Sports Center in Springfield, and consulting with the team that built The Linc in Jefferson City, where we call our home in Mid-Missouri! Both Mike & Steve were involved in Youth Basketball with their children, and once they stopped playing they were missing being at youth tournaments, so after much brainstorming, Hoops Midwest was born. Our 1st ever basketball tournament consisted of 5 teams! We now host tournaments regularly with over 70 teams!
We’ve assembled an awesome team that understands customer service and knows how to organize and run youth basketball tournaments! We pride ourselves in communication with all teams both prior to and during our events. When you hear us talk about the “Hoops Midwest Difference,” we’re talking about all of this! It’s vital that you have a great experience and we seek to have you return! We also promote proper behavior by our teams and spectators. What we do is all about the kids, and for the parents to have the opportunity to watch their kids compete!
Our staff will always be there if you have any questions or concerns. That’s a guarantee!! You’ll find at Hoops Midwest, you’ll always get more than you expect. We do great youth basketball tournaments and we do them right!
